K-Plane drill template

I just made my own from heavy paper then to a 1/4" paneling template and a tee square. Both sides drilled and ready for install in apprx 1 hour including templates. Was a bad day though on this particular install. Port side went as expected. Stbd side once the drill bit went through the layer of glass it was like your clutch slipping badly before you make it to the toilet. Lol. Looked like it also.
Templates woulda been nice but wasn't necessary. Just think it through and start with a smaller bit. If I recall I only had one hole I needed to open up slightly on the inner transom. No biggy. T square and good eyes are key.
