It's a curse, I swear every time I got out someone messages me and asks why I am not at work 😂. We were heading back from a week of skydiving in Montana. Weather sucked mostly, only took the boat out once for some laps of the local lake with friends.

Ha, back in the early 90’s I took a girlfriend to Zepherhills, we did tandem jumps. It was fun but I was afraid if I went back I’d be hooked. Nice and cool temps at 13,000’. The central FL scenery is bland from an aerial perspective.
Desert SW would be cool though.

Weather is looking OK for the Popcorn Run on Sunday, partly cloudy and 80. Will probably be a bit cool in the morning. Have had a couple people touch base, will see who actually turns up. Unless its actively miserable day of (raining 100%, cold), its a go!

Looking good for now. El Niño usually means indian summer around here. Should be a real nice 3-4 weeks coming up. At least in the afternoons.

Yeah, we got rained out that Sunday unfortunately. Don't think I will try and reschedule this year. Probably up in Priest Lake this coming weekend with some friends, we went camping on upper priest a few weeks ago that was very nice. Boat did not love the half hour idle up the canal 😂, but it cleaned out with the Italian tune up. Also had a really nice day on Cd'a this past Saturday.

So much for a dry fall. Maybe snow levels will drop below 5500’ soon.

Yeah, it was not the amazing September we had last year that's for sure. This weekend looks pretty good, so I am thinking we will do our fall colors run down the St. Joe Saturday. Last year the weather was so nice that when we did it the last weekend of October barely any of the leaves had changed 😂. Unless we get about really nice weekend that will probably be it, start getting prepped to pull the motor for rebuild and put a new wrap on the top deck.

Looks like we got skunked on the lake house in Sandpoint, had a couple rounds of offer/counteroffer, accepted a final counteroffer, and in the next 24 hours another buyer came in a blew it all up, which sucks. Was really looking forward to both summers on the lake, and winters so close to Trestle Creek and Schweitzer. Waiting a few weeks to see if it falls through and they come crawling back 🙄.

I plan on doing some sledding at Trestle Creek this winter. I connected with a guy out of Post Falls who put some riding vids on Youtube and the area looks really good. My house should be done in 4-6 weeks.
