Default Know a good surveyor?

Does anyone know a good surveyor around KY/Barkley Lake? We live in Chattanooga and my brother is currently looking at a 2006 270 Rinker on Lake Barkley. I think it is actually at the State Resort Marina. Anybody live or work around the area that could take a look at it? Thanks ahead of time.

I know some marine surveyors - but I use them for barge surveys. Don't know if they do recreational boats or not, but I'll check it out and let you know...

I could drop over and take a look at it but I have no real surveyoring skills.

The other guys on board here (Disturbed, Mamatryed) might be more helpful in that department.

Well, I didn't turn up much. Like I said, most of my contacts are commercial related. However, you might try Ray Parrish of Parrish Marine Services. He's out of Gilbertsville, KY. His cell phone is 270-853-5746. I believe he does mostly commercial related surveys, but I'm told he might be able to help you or know someone who can.

Good luck.

Thanks for the information. The owner is going to take some new and more detailed photos today so that may eliminate the need to put eyes on it before driving up. I will contact the guy from Gilbertsville to see if this is in his wheel house. Thanks again!

Think Green Turtle Bay Resort has a surveyor on staff that works for one of the yacht broker companies there.
