| Out of all the boats built by the Arneson Team, this one is in show condition. Originally crafted for Bernie Little of Budweiser and later owned by Bill Bennet of Circus-Circus, Howard always said this was the most fun boat. The low-profile beam Alley Cat Hull is perfect for lakes and inland waterways, effortlessly cruising at 100 MPH without any worry about damage to the engine or the ASD6/8 bronze Arneson Surface Drive. It's easy to jump out of and climb back into after a swim. The twin 70lb force electric Minnkota motors were rebuilt in 2024, silently moving the boat around as needed.
With the Pratt and Whitney PT6 Gas Turbine engine, boasting 850-1000 HP, you can push it up to 120 MPH if you want to thrill your passengers. The impressive rooster tail from the Rolla 16x26 prop streams 300 feet, catching everyone's eyes. The drive system design has been well-vetted over a decade since we rigged these hulls. Even the trailer, a tunnel configuration, makes washing and launching a no-hassle experience.
The interior rigging was replaced in 2010, and the seating was updated in 2024. The Arneson Drive was rebuilt in 2024, and the engine turbine section was replaced with a recently timed-out section in 2024. From the new switches on the dash and the overhauled drive system to the shiny new gas fills, this boat is a masterpiece. The cost to acquire this toy is less than what has been invested in parts to restore it. Only fools would try to replicate this dream sport boat. The Arneson Team defined Turbine Boat engineering.
